The word is out and the jury is in: FSBO'S ARE HERE TO STAY AND THEY ARE EXPANDING IN NUMBERS AND INDEPENDENCE BY THE MINUTE. With the advent of the Internet, buyers and sellers real estate education and access to information has exploded. The truth of the matter is that in many scenarios these Sellers and Buyers truly need professional assistance more than ever. They don't have specified knowledge and state licensed authority; nor do they have experience in the legalities, negotiation techniques, and state specific legally required disclosures. They don’t have the resources to appropriately price their home for a quick yet equitable sale. And they have limited ability to draft an effective purchase contract once they find a buyer. FSBO's need a friend.
